Question about Crystal Wave and Plague Signet
For ignoring all armor and magical resistance doesnt it seem like this spell should do more damage? I have seen aftershock cause more damage on a foe. (The foe was not knocked down.)
Also does anyone know if you use plague signet (e), does it transfer all of your exhaustion? I was thinking of spamming Obsidian flame (causes exhaustion and has relativley low recast)and using Plague Signet to transfer all exhaustion but wasnt sure it would it would do all or just 10.

Exhaustion isnt a condition in the same sense as bleeding, crippled etc.

Use Crystal Wave on a lvl 28 mursaat boss and you'll see where skills like Aftershock fail, and those like Crystal Wave shine.
Lightning Orb does maybe 37 on those bosses =\
Especially pathetic against Mursaat Monk bosses.

Crystal wave is an armour ignoring spell so it doesn't take armour into account at all and does same dmg on a lvl 1 as it would on a lvl 28, hence its not affected by armour ratings so won't do more damage against low armoured foes and won't do less dmg against high dmg foes.
Spells like lightning orb or other spells takes armour ratings into account, so any foes with less than 60 AL, it would do more than 100% of your dmg while above 60 AL your doing less than 100% of your dmg.

Yes but you can transfer it. I have done so in PVP using Plague Touch (I think thats the spell). You can only transfer 10 at a time though. The amount you gain from exhaustion once. My question is if you can transfer all of it using plague signet.

To use crystal wave effectively, get a wand with 20 percent chance to quickly recover your earth spells. All, carry an other item with 20 percent chance to quickly recover earth spells too. Together, you will have a 40 percent chance. Now, before you cast crystal wave, cast mantra of recall, arcane echo, then crystal wave and then the echoed crystal wave. If you have crystal wave at level 16, thats 118 damage to enemies around you. You should be able to spam like 4 or 5 crystal waves.

Exhaustion, death penalty, and morale are unique-
They're the only conditions that persist after death (untested with Morale, since it becomes 5% DP upon death :P), and can not be removed through any of the normal condition removal options (mend condition, mend ailment, martyr, restore condition, plague touch, plague sending, plague signet, crystal wave).
So, sure, you plague touch exhaustion to someone else, just like I plague touch my DP to people after I die all the time, 15% each time...
In other words, I doubt it.

I have not tested it but to me it seems like if it was possible people would be complaing about nerfing that rather than NR. How hard would it be to obsidian flame, plague touch, obsidian flame, plague touch, obsidian flame, plague touch...etc a monk to where he could do nothing.

I guess I should of kept this to myself if no one knows about it.
Seriously though, stop doubting and try it.
Problem with using plague touch is you have to touch them. Thats why I want to know if plague signet transfers all of it or just 10 like touch. Guess I'll never know until I get the signet because no one here believes me. Oh well, your loss.

I just tried it with plague touch and this definitely does not work against monsters. I doubt it works on players either.

Having just taken Ether Prodigy, an exhaustion causing skill that recycles in 5 seconds, to the Arena to humour you, in addition to Plague Touch, no, you don't pass on exhuastion to other players, but you do apparently pass on misinformation.
